The reports on activities were only published from time to time. The INSTITUTE was designed as a complex scientific research institution for agriculture, so from the beginning it worked on researching a variety of problems, even though it did not have any special organisational units for such work.The experts had, as that was then usual and possible, a significantly greater scale of interest and action, and that is why this narrative encompasses the activities of the "DEPARTMENT" which in the earlier organization did not exist.
