Projects






Significant success was realized in collaboration with different institutions from other countries. The following project were realized:

1. Project No E 30-ENT 8, GRANT No FG-YU 152 USDA, Biological control of Olive Fly and Other Insect Pest of Olive
Period: April, 1, 1968 - March,31, 1973 The report on the work of the project was edited in USDA ( International programs division, Hyattsville, Maryland 20782) by the experts from the following laboratories: Insect attractants, Behaviour and basic biology -Gainsville, Florida, Hawaiian fruit fly laboratory, Honolulu, and Biological control of insects research laboratory , Columbia, Missouri (R. Sailer, G. Creany, J.R. Culson, E. J. Harris)

2. Project: YO-ARS-9-JB-5 USDA Biological Control of Olive Fly by means of Sterile Male Technique and by Opius Concolor
Period: April,1973 - December,1977 The report on the work of the project was reviewed in SDA (E. J. Harris, California, Hawaii area tropical fruit and vegetable research laboratory,Honolulu)

3. Research contract No 1159 (IAEA-RC/1159 contract) FAO/IAEA International Atomic Energy Agency, Vienna
Period: 1973-1977 This contract was directly tied to the project YO-ARS-9-JB5 USDA

4.UNDP/FAO
experimental demonstrational project was realized from 1978 to 1991. Actually by UNDP/FAO the project was realized in two phases: 1978-1982 and 1882 to the end of 1991. During 1992 was prepared a V. cycle. The republic of Croatia was preparing a candidacy with new themes, however because of the situation in the country the candidacy was not achieved, but individual experts had finished their activity with the FAO group in Rome.

The Institutes work on the projects was done in cooperation with the following institutions:
